so here i am in the land of..

freezing toilet bowl seats
hands getting frost bite when i wash my face
sun going down by 5.55pm (i checked)

liz says i sound like i'm talking to myself
and alvin says that it's just a matter of time before i settle down
but..

you better continue to talk to me!!

i think i miss you guys alot (delayed reaction)
boo hooo hooo.
and at times, i just don't feel like talking to anyone.
i don't feel like opening msn (or adiumX to yina and i)
i don't feel like replying email
and i don't feel like writing letters
(don't even ask about me calling home.. uh-uh)
and it's only been 3 days!

i realise how "spoiled" rotten i was back home..
oops, i mean, blessed!!!
to have two wonderful cell groups, a church,
and friends who love God...

of course, i must tell you how God has been faithful through this..
brief but painful time.
on monday, when i really really didn't wanna talk to anyone
my friend in melbourne, Mel Chew, called :P
and we're going to visit her church on friday night
(she can drive, and she's a qualified first aider. how safe right? haha.)
cos there's a guy from Planetshakers coming and.. wow.
so that really lifted up my spirits in more ways than one!

and my brother stephen..
cos i dunno if u know that i dun haf a good r'ship with my brothers
well, he said that he wants me to stay in melbourne
cos..he wants
'to spend the last two years of his childhood with me'
and i asked what does that mean?
and he said something like,
'how would you like it if you had an older brother..
and you never saw him around?' (mind you, he's saying all this in
a very australian TWANG..gosh)
so that was quite heartening. haha.

and there's this YWAM here..youth with a mission..
that..can u believe it.. shares the same premises as..
the church my family attends here..
haha..and there are some courses.. and they invited me
to go for their open meetings on thursday - tomorrow!

yup, so through it all, God is faithful.
entangled in fear and excitement,
but in the book Caleb gave me, (you can't walk on water if
you don't get out of the boat)
it says that..
fear and growth go together.
so...there's still this joy in my heart :)

p/s: dawn, when are u and ulynn and kenny coming over?
there is space indeed. can u believe it - my house is like,
30m long? a looong house for the Loong family.
